She Was the Best Thing About “Hereditary”

She truly was. It’s a shame she didn’t appear in it for all that long. Her character of “Charlie” was truly a fascinating character to watch. Her facial expressions alone made the character & movie. Did an incredible job with her character, Nice little actress. She’s going to be a horror directors dream!

It’s not hard to see she may be a future legendary “scream queen” down the road, with the likes of Janet Leigh & Jamie Lee Curtis, Barbara Steele, etc.
I’m sure many in the industry took notice of her & her acting in this film. They WILL most surely be coming!

Will definitely keep an eye out for other things she may appear in in the future. Good job Milly!

It's nice to see someone come here with something nice to say about her. Other message boards about her have been incredibly cruel. I can't wait to see this movie!

I think she did an incredible acting job. And I think I know what you're referring to by "cruel" comments on other boards. But I don't think we can deny the fact that this young lady is incredibly unattractive in this film. I don't mean that as a criticism, just an observation. If you look at photos of her she looks much better. My question is, did the filmmakers make her look bad for the film, and why?

Oh I'm sure they did it to add to the "creepiness" factor she needed to convey. It would be a lot harder to convey that kind of feeling in an audience if they had cast someone considered to be very attractive and desirable in the more popular sense. Could you see yourself feeling creeped out or disturbed if they had cast someone like Mackenzie Foy or Joey King?

She may not be attractive in the conventional sense but as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)

i cant believe her parents let her do this movie, exploiting her "look" knowing well enough that she will be bullied.
