Beyonce shows her support for Lizzo - "I love you Lizzo!"

What happened to all that #BelieveAllVictims stuff back during the #MeToo era? Thrown in the bin when it's a woman, a fat black one at that, getting accused?

Beyoncé seemed to suggest that she's not troubled by a recent lawsuit for sexual harassment that was launched against her friend Lizzo by three of her former backup dancers.

During her concert on Monday night in Atlanta, Georgia, Beyoncé confirmed she was sticking with the embattled rapper and singer by continuing to include her name in a list of inspiring women in her Break My Soul remix.

The 41-year-old hitmaker went even further, though, by shouting, 'I love you, Lizzo!' in the middle of the line.

Of course Beyonce would support Lizzo, she's just like her! Harpies of a feather flock together!

reply

"Harpies of a feather flock together"

That's PERFECT.

Only believe when a straight, white male is being accused. Those guys are inherently evil, while everyone else sits somewhere on the victim hierarchy. Heck, in 2018 #MeToo morons were accusing Gary Oldman of assaulting his wife, outright dismissing the fact that he'd been cleared of the false allegation in court 17 years earlier. A black woman coerces her underlings into vile sex acts? Well, yeah, she's kinda stunning and brave though.

What did Beyonce say when asked about her thoughts on the Lizzo lawsuit?
"I'm sticking by her side through thick and thin-crust!"

reply

INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY...RIGHT?

reply

Indeed. It's the inconsistency that bothers me personally.

An example from today is the fact that Rammstein's lead singer has had the sexual assault allegations against him dropped as no victims came forward, however some people online are saying it's disgusting that people are now taking his side and acting like he's completely innocent. Some are still choosing to no longer listen to their music and are operating under the assumption that he's guilty.

For me personally 'innocent until proven guilty' > 'believe all victims'.

reply

THAT IS THE PROBLEM...ONLINE...THE BOTTOMLESS ECHO CHAMBER OF UNINFORMED OPINIONS...IT WILL NEVER BE "RIGHT"...OR "EVEN".

reply

You want consistently from the left, let alone black people, let alone someone who is only motivated by financial reasons? That's asking a ton.

reply

It really is. However, I will not stop calling them out for their double standard.

reply

True. It lets others know of their compromised morals and how worthless their opinions are.

reply

Exactly. I’m doing it for sane, normal people so it gives them courage to speak up as well.
