A Russian stooge

I can’t believe I used to be a fan of this guy. After finding out he had his own show on Russia Today, and has frequently buried Wikileaks reports on the Kremlin, I have deduced that he is controlled opposition and just sucks.

Um--some of us watched "The World Tomorrow" on RT. I was thrilled to bits everytime a new episode was dropped. It dealt with items of crucial contemporary interest that needed to be discussed. Insofar as Assange is concerned, the most important episode was the one featuring Ecuador's then-President Rafael Correa, who throws his support behind Assange and ended up offering him asylum in the Ecuadorean embassy. You are free to think RT is merely Russian propaganda if you wish, yet that doesn't take into account that often RT is the only news outlet that is talking about issues that corporate media especially in the US and UK is deliberately avoiding. When Assange was arrested in April, 2019, the only news outlet to get the footage was RT. I don't think you really know what you're talking about and you need to study a lot more about something you know nothing about. These fears about Russia stem from the hysterical propaganda used by the Democrats all throughout the Trump era.

RT is literally the MSNBC of Russia. They ignore and shut down any criticism of their establishment and deflect it all towards the West.

It’s well known that Assange doesn’t publish anything that isn’t approved by the FSB. This aussie moron sold out.

It’s also well known that the DSC was Hacked and emails were released, along with the massive disinformation campaign by Russian hackers on social media in a bid to sabotage US elections. That same year Assange was publishing leaked files from the Democratic Party, he also turned down releasing a treasure trove of data leaked from the Russian interior ministry. Seriously, when has Assange EVER brought up anything about Russia that was at all damaging?

So when the leaks involve Democrats it's a "massive disinformation campaign by Russian hackers"....

That same year Assange was publishing leaked files from the Democratic Party, he also turned down releasing a treasure trove of data leaked from the Russian interior ministry.

...But if it involves the Russian interior ministry then it's obviously true and therefore him NOT releasing the information makes him a Russian stooge?

You've setup a scenario where no matter what he did (or didn't do), Assange doesn't win, and he's either spreading misinformation or not spreading information you deem important, and therefore is a "sell-out". This is called Kafkatrapping.

reply

You must lack literacy. The disinformation campaign was not in reference to the leaks, it was in reference to memes and propaganda spread on Twitter and other platforms to misinform people. As such you’ve built an entire response based around a false premise.

reply

Ace, you were the one who correlated the leaks to a "disinformation campaign", not me. I literally just quoted you and your neurotic takeaways from one of the last great patriots of freedom.

Liar and idiot!

" talking about issues that corporate media especially in the US and UK is deliberately avoiding"

like what?
googling your example of JA's arrest in 2019 , every news source covered it.

The only qualification for getting on RT is being anti-American.

We now know why Megatron is so dumb!
