People finding out that she couldn't "act" killed her career

Let's go back to 2015. Yes she starred in some kids series a few years before but in 2015 she had an "influencer" career that was not acting based. Remember when the "white lady" made fun of her braids and people lost it? Zendaya was the media darling back then that could not be touched.

About a year later she released a clothing line that people loved and continued to model for instagram.

But then in 2019... "Euphoria" was released. It became obvious she could not act herself out of a paper bag and really wasn't that good looking without makeup and glamor to be honest. The second season had other actresses receive fame and praise over her while she faded.

I mean . Damn. I feel kind of bad for this woman.

Hollywood has a thing for models who can't act. Gal Gadot and Cara Delevingne to name but two examples.

So, you can act better than Zendaya? Prove it!

Acting is all about delivery the lines anyhow. The director will use a hundred or more takes until someone gets it right. In other words, you get plenty of 'do-overs' in this profession.

And because of this, almost anyone can be in a movie. You just need some charisma and good looks. It really is a cushy job. Not to take anything away from "actors" some of them do work pretty hard, and sure, some people are genuinely better at it than others, but yeah, it's really not that hard to deliver a few lines.

Complaining about someone's acting skills is about like complaining about someone's Halloween costume. It really is quite trivial.
