He's popular.

He's already at the Academy Awards.

He's only had a couple of, mostly forgotten, controversies.

he told some sexist jokes back in the day in South Africa.

And some anti-Semitic ones, but he seems to have been mostly forgiven, probably because it's quite clear where he stands politically (does anyone truly think he's a misogynist or anti-Semite?)

He's not that popular, his ratings are shit compared to JS. Also, he sucks.
