Was brilliant in "Lot No. 249", the recent supernatural BBC drama shown over Christmas.

It was a one-off written by Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle.

Kit's acting in it was spot on (unlike, sadly, in most of GoT) and the show was really good, too.

I thought exactly the same. He's never overly impressed me before, but he was superb in Lot No. 249. Seemed to have matured a lot as an actor. Great performance.

reply

Yeah, and he was also good in Pompeii (2014).

I just can't fathom why he was usually a dud in GoT?

I love Conan-Doyle's "Lot No. 249" story and always hope a feature-length film will be made based on it. I'm in the US, so I wasn't aware of this new BBC show. I need to try to watch it.

reply

It was just a one-off, hour long story/film.

It should be available in the US soon.
