Hollywood really is a closed shop now, nobody is able to break into acting unless they have serious family money (like the Rooney sisters), or they have relatives in the entertainment business who can get them in the door of CAA. That doesn't mean that the people who get in through nepotism aren't talented or beautiful, but there are loads of beautiful and talented people who'd like to be actors, but who aren't being allowed to enter the competition.
