shareI borrowed the book from the library. I only read a few chapters, but I highly recommend this book. Interesting, entertaining, educational and informative. Plenty of behind the scenes information re: Trump and family. I cant wait for her to release another tape so I can find the passage in the book. The first two tape releases are actually mentioned in the introduction (Kelly and Lara). I bet Eric was taped and there's an email with the bribe to keep silent aka: no-show job.
Trump is stupid for turning her into an enemy. She knew him for years and obviously is into keeping detailed notes, tapes, and videos, etc. Trump must be going crazy with her airing all the dirty details and talking to Mueller.
Trump's response to everything is: I didn't say that or That's Fake News.
shareTrump hater here too. But wasn’t it John Kelly that pushed for her firing? Maybe Trump didn’t necessarily want her fired but he deferred to his chief of staff.
shareKelly said the official reason for the firing was because she took a government car to the Congressional Baseball Game (government business), but according to Omarosa other staff members did the same thing without any problem.
Omarosa wrote that the real reason for the firing was because she was looking for the tape of Trump using the N-word. Hicks probably told Kelly who never liked her and Trump. Maybe they suspected that she would become disloyal.
It does sound odd that Kelly fired her in the Situations Room instead of his office.
