Star Trek Beyond: A Weak Story Makes for a Disappointing Sequel

“Star Trek Beyond” features the same great cast and delightful humor from the previous entries, but unfortunately the storyline this time around is rather weak, as is the bland and forgettable villain, leaving us with a sequel that has its moments, but is ultimately the first disappointment in the rebooted series of films.

funny, it's my favorite of the three .....loved it, it's the movie that convinced me to buy a blu ray player...

Agreed. Boring boring boring.

I disagree, that third film is my favorite of the new Star Trek films, I find the second one to be the weakest and the most excruciating.

Delightful humor?

I hate most of the Star Trek movies, but particularly the so-called reboots ... ugh, they are both terrible.

Hearing rumors that he may be asking for too much money to reprise Kirk and may price himself out of the series.
