Tucker Carlson mocked for fawning video praising Russia's 'cheap and fresh' groceries without mentioning...

.... how average salary is a SIXTH of US income

Tucker Carlson has been mocked over a fawning video praising Moscow's 'cheap and fresh' groceries - while overlooking the much lower wages in Russia.

The former Fox News firebrand wheeled a grocery cart around a Russian superstore while marveling at the stock as he continued his Putin PR tour.

At one point Tucker, 54, exclaims, 'Look at that!' while sniffing a loaf of bread as jovial music plays. But the soundtrack turns somber as Tucker reaches the checkout and notices the equivalent $400 price-tag for a weeks-worth of groceries for him and his team.

He says the revelation moved him from feeling 'amused to legitimately angry' that his home country apparently charges much more for basics like food.

The video drew widespread ridicule from people online, as many pointed out the disparity between the average wage in Russia - which is the equivalent of $9072 - or 6.5 times less than the average US salary of $59,428.

Many joked he was working for free as a one-man 'tourism marketing team' for Vladimir Putin's country.

'Tucker says groceries in Russia cost about 1/4th of what they cost in America,' one person wrote on X.

'What he doesn't mention is the average Russian salary is 1/5th the average US salary.'

Even his fans were disparaging. 'I love Tucker but this $104 charge for groceries is misleading if you look at the average salary for a Russian citizen is about $14,771 according to Google,' one supporter said.

'Tucker should also have to live for a month on an average Russian salary, in an average Russian apartment, and see how his grocery budget looks then,' scoffed one X user.

'I love Tucker but he did not disclose the fact that the average annual income of a Russian family of four is equivalent to $15K USD.

'To Americans, $103 for a weeks worth of groceries is a steal!

'To the Russians, it's 35 percent of their annual salary!'

They have been too generous with that $9000 a year. ordinary russians do not earn 750 dollars per moth. It's a lot less. To earn $500 is a good job. That's why prices are always cheaper in countries that have lesser salaries. And bigger in countries with bigger salaries. So when Americans or British come to Eastern Europe, Africa, Latin America, russia they are always shocked at small prices.

This idiot very carefully "forgets' to mention that salaries in USA are $5-10k per month. And in russia its $500 per month. Pensions in russia is around $150-200. So for russians those prices are big.

But he thinks that trumpists are so stupid that they will not notice and care to check themselves and will swallow anything. And it's very dangerous when many empty headed westerners looks how russian propagandists tell them how cool it is in russia, then pack their things and move. Only to see how its not as such. But it's too late. They already sold their houses back home and spend money on moving.

Even that guy was shocked how clueless and out of touch Carlson is. His glossing and gasping over mundane things is astonishing and hilarious. This is clearly American celebrity millionaire who never goes to Supermarket because his servants go and private chefs make him food. Or he goes to fancy restaurants to eat.

His gasping at that coin in shopping cart.... Thinking it's to stop homeless people from stealing it. It's not, you dummy. Motivation behind the deposit system is to reduce the expense of employees having to gather carts that are not returned, and to avoid damage done by runaway carts. Because people are lazy. They take cart and then dump it on parking lot. And employees have to constantly collect them. When there is coin - people return for them. Some European countries have 1 euro as deposit. And when someone is too lazy to return for 1 euro - bystanders can do that to collect those money.

There was literally such scene in Terminal movie with Tom Hanks. When he was collecting such coins after people who dumped cart at the airports.

Also him gasping at that "steel with magnets" escalator that supermarkets have when their store has more then one floor. Literally at all countries. But Carlson never goes to Supermarkets and never saw one. Hilarious. And this out of touch millionaire idiot teaches people about international politics which he knows as much as he knows how Supermarkets work.

He also didn't show what did he actually bought. Which I know its not "food for 4 people for a week". Because this idiot does not know what food should last for a week because b*tch never does his own food. He just have it magically appear on his table, done by his servant lady every morning.

No one knew that Carlson is THAT MUCH out of touch of real wold.
