I was wondering when someone would start talking about him on here. I wouldn't say he's popular on YouTube, but more and more people are becoming familiar with the name.

I still dont know who this person is, but hear about him all the time. The name is just amusing.

Yes, his name does make people chuckle at times. ;)

I stumbled upon him and Nerdrotic on Youtube by accident a year or two ago, because I was unhappy about the direction Star Wars and Star Trek were going, and they pretty much were saying what I was thinking and feeling, so I took up watching their channels. I also found Clownfish TV and Midnight's Edge. Evidently their followers on these channels has grown over the past 2-3 years because a lot of other people are unhappy and fed up with what's happened to pop culture in recent times.

Dictor Von Doomcock (AKA Overlord, DVD) is a guy who puts on this silly villain persona, complete with a robe, gloves, and a helmet, and pretty much talks about sci-fi and fantasy films/tv shows in current culture, mostly to complain, but sometimes he's happy about what's going on. He hangs out in his lair in the center of the earth, plotting to eventually take over the planet one day. He has a sidekick stuck in an inter-dimensional prison named Harvey Cthulu, a rather cartoony Eldritch god he captured centuries ago, who is both his nemesis and best friend. He wears a fez and has a silly, cartoony voice, and always has interesting insight into what's going on, or just wants to snark at DVD.

DVD does other stuff such as "Pop Culture Breakdown" and "Friday Night Frolics" where you just hear his voice, and he sounds more normal because he's not wearing his helmet. He's very articulate with different character voices, and loves to sing Irish and showtunes songs :D
