Why did Bill Clinton encourage Trump to run for President in May 2015?
Remember, before the Democrats lost, the GOP was saying Trump was colluding with the CLINTONS to win the GOP primaries.

(and to be fair, that theory sounded way more realistic than "muh Russian collusion!")
1. Why would a former Commander-in-Chief, husband to Democrat Presidential nominee, encourage a Russian asset to run for President?
2. Why did the Democrats want to "maximize Trump" in July 2015? Why would the Democrats want to help a Russian asset win the GOP's nomination?
3. Why did the Democrats want to PROMOTE a Russian asset? According to an email in April 2015, "In this scenario, we don’t want to marginalize the more extreme candidates, but make them more ‘Pied Piper’ candidates (which included Trump) who actually represent the mainstream of the Republican Party."
4. During an August 2015 email, after the first GOP debate, Clinton associate Neera Tanden said Bush would be the easiest candidate to beat, "besides Trump of course :-)."
Obama, during a Kimmel show visit, said he was "happy" Trump won the GOP nomination because he thought he'd be so easy to beat. Obama even LAUGHED at Trump. Then, later the year Obama said "At least I will go down as a President!" to Trump.
If the Russians were so incredible and amazing, and damaging to Clinton's campaign, how come the Democrats were so confident?
5. After the Crimea invasion, Obama said Russia was a "regional power" that was "acting out of weakness." Democrats have compared Russia's alleged "hacking" to 9-11. How did Russia go from a "regional power" that was "acting out of weakness" to pulling off the largest transatlantic attack in the West's ENTIRE history?
Obama even said he was more worried about a nuke going off in Manhattan than Russia.
So what was Obama doing? In May 2014, they were a weak regional power, and according to Obama, NOT a threat to the United States, but by September 2015 they were pulling off 9-11s like nothing?
6. How does it make you feel to learn the Democrats actually colluded to help Trump win, and the Russians did not?
