I just heard Pubs are upset that Dems are trying to block jerk-wad Trump's SC nomination.
I still can't believe after Scalia's unexpected death, McConnell and co. managed to take away our President's ability to nominate a SC justice. So if they want to play hard-ball, that's what you get.
It's too bad Dems don't control the Senate.

Kavanaugh is a corrupt mofo with whom Trump clearly worked a quid pro quo in exchange for his selection, that should his case appear before the court challenging Mueller's subpoena he'd rule in Trump's favor. It's so obvious the way Republicans are prepared to ram him through while blocking Dems from accessing past memos that could derail his nomination.
If only there was enough for Kavanuagh to withdraw his name...
shareAs usual, left wing activist groups were pissed that that Pelosi and Schumer once again twiddled their thumbs and didn't clearly signal they'd spend the political capital in opposing Kavanagh. If they had, they could have mounted their anti-Kavanagh campaign far earlier. Given the unpopularity Kavanagh has with the public, he might not be a shoo-in and every little bit of momentum against him could have counted for something.
If Dems miraculously take over the House I really hope enough progressives get elected to vote these Dem dinosaurs out of leadership. It's time for new blood and the shitty current leadership Dem leadership is hurting more than helping.
