Edited my list above to include Julia, which I have finally seen and which I think is her greatest performance to date. Superb work.

I can't even weigh in on this properly since I haven't seen all of her films, so I'll wait on that.

Just wanted to say that when I hear Tilda Swinton the first image that pops into my head is her cameo in Vanilla Sky where she breaks the 4th wall and looks at the audience.

If you're going to do a cameo that's the way to do it!
