Sounds pathetically desperate. Not only is Nolan seemingly out of his prime already, but he is deeply contemptuous of streaming as opposed to theaters. To court him so aggressively could only be for the sake of "conquering" a reluctant talent and proving some kind of point to all of the other streamers

I can't look forward to another bloated, overly long "sci-fi mind fuck" with a bullshit plot. Nolan has not made a good film since Inception, and I stand by that statement. Not saying Inception was great, just that it was passable compared to everything that has come after it. The Dark Knight Rises is only bearable because of the high-effort performances of its cast. But everything after that has been just terrible by any measure
