Prolific British character actor, a familiar face in films and TV, with a career stretching back to the 1940s. R.I.P.

96 is a good age. I hope Talking Pictures show him in 'The Teckman Mystery' again soon. Another of his movies I am intrigued by is 'Someone At The Door' (1950). I hope that surfaces sometime on TV. Rest In Peace.

One of those familiar and welcome faces you see in so many British films. But I don't think I knew he was a producer as well and the films were significant ones. I'm guessing he was much busier and more influential than the lists in IMDb suggest.
