Federal prosecutors have released the photos they say helped Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli scam their daughters’ way into the University of Southern California.

The photos, included in new court documents filed Wednesday as part of the FBI’s case, show Olivia Jade, now 20, and Isabella Rose, 21, their faces blurred, in workout attire on ERG rowing machines.

Giannulli, 56, emailed Isabella’s photo to the scandal’s mastermind, William “Rick” Singer, on Sept. 7, 2016, prosecutors say in court documents.

Giannulli sent the image after Singer requested them in an earlier email to him and Loughlin.

“Lori and Moss, I met with USC today [and] I need a PDF of her transcript and test scores very soon while I create a coxswain portfolio for her,” Singer wrote. “It would probably help to get a picture with her on an ERG in workout clothes like a real athlete too.”

Giannulli responded, “Fantastic. Will get all,” the documents show.

After Isabella was accepted, prosecutors say, Giannulli emailed his financial adviser, “Good news my [older] daughter is in SC bad [news] is I had to work the system,” according to People.
Less than a year later, on July 28, 2017, Giannulli sent Singer Olivia’s rowing photos, with Loughlin, 55, copied, according to prosecutors.

Neither daughter was ever involved in rowing, authorities said.

Loughlin and Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to secure their daughters’ admission.

The photos, first reported by People, were released in response to Loughlin’s attorneys filing a motion to dismiss her criminal case based on the actress’ claim that investigators bullied Singer into lying and then concealed evidence that would bolster the parents’ claims of innocence.

Both Giannulli and Loughlin have pleaded not guilty. They are scheduled to go on trial in October.

Six other wealthy parents accused of participating in the scheme will stand trial alongside them. Another six parents are scheduled to face trial in January.

Actually this is more proof of prosecutorial misconduct. The photos were never provided to USC, as USC has already stated that they never received any photos of the daughters on rowing machine. The photo were provided to Singer at his request, but never used.

The reality is they are being put out by the prosecutor because the prosecutor knows that they would not be allowed as evidence in the trial. In the trial the only evidence that will be allowed to prove fraud in getting the daughters into USC is going to be what was actually provided to USC. The intent by the prosecutors in dumping the photos to the press is to try and taint the jury with them in the hopes that members of the jury will accept them and use them in determining guilt or innocence even though they will not be a part of the actual evidence. If anything this will be more ammunition for the defense attorney to have the charges thrown out based on the bad faith and actions of the prosecutor.

What an elaborate effort for a school that is not that tough to get into if you have money for good schools, tutors, college counselors. These people are just LAZY. If a kid puts an effort into sophomore and junior year grades, preps well for the ACT/SAT, then shows lots of interest for the college in the application, getting into USC is not that hard. If it were Stanford or ivy leagues, then it is harder. Loughlins kid could have used her success as an influencer to show business talent. Why lie about rowing ?

The feds got caught trying to force Rick Singer to lie about where the money Loughlin was asked to pay would go. Seems to support her claim.

It would be interesting if the feds were forced to drop the charges or reduce them.

Still, I'd bet anything Loughlin wishes now she had taken the first deal like Huffman did and be done with it.
