I don't care as much about the celebrities and other entitled assholes who managed to get their equally entitled spawn into these schools, I'm more concerned about those in the universities that were complicit. Those are the ones that should really be reamed.

Think about it. We live in a money-driven capitalist society, so there really *should* be some formal, acceptable way for people who have the means to do so to simply buy a prestigious college education. I mean, you can buy just about anything else if you have enough money. If you can afford it, you can pay for a Maserati. Or you can pay for a Rolex watch. Or you can even pay for a perfunctory background check that lets you skip way ahead of everybody else to get to the front of the security line at the airport. Shouldn't you also be able to just pay a premium fast-track fee that lets you bypass the standard college admissions process and then pay for the tuition each quarter that will eventually get you a fancy certificate to hang on your wall that boasts to everybody that you're educated?

/s, sort of.

Rich people even have a special airport terminal at LAX airport in Los Angeles. For thousands of dollars, they get to cut through the whole airport, TSA and everything. Nobody respects government airports. But people do respect colleges. Colleges want this kept underground not out in the open. We need to recognize that we actually live in a socialist society. Bribe money is bad, but "gifts" are good? The value of connections and reputations are hugely distorted.

Dr Dre found a legal way. Cost him $70 million though. Bribery is cheaper.
