Supermodel

I tend to feel that way about most of the "supermodels". Someone like Gisele Bündchen doesn't seem to be any more attractive than your average Sports Illustrated model.

I think she was the first to have the skinny waif look, round face with big eyes and very skinny body.

She (along with Jean Shrimpton) was the face of British fashion at a time when it led the world. She could perform on stage and screen and had some hit films. But perhaps most significantly, she was funny and clever and made a really good chat show guest at a time when chat shows held peak viewing slots. I can't think of any other supermodel with that kind of crossover appeal.
