the same level of success if she didn't get that nose job?

Evidently you'd be surprised to find how many actors and actresses have had nose jobs..or other things.

Old pictures I've seen of her she was still very pretty. If she had a nose job I can't imagine it's made any difference in her success.

The new nose doesn't quite fit the face for me -- esp as she's filled out over the years.

Not a chance. It's the difference between playing the lead or playing the lead's supportive friend.
