I've been listening to both The Band and The Who doing his Baby Don't Do It. The cover bands find a funky groove that oddly enough Marvin didn't quite capture. Seems like musicians saw a lot in the song the general public didn't. I don't remember ever hearing MG do this song until the last decade.

Excellent choices. And the entire album What's Going On is simply & undeniably one of the single best albums of the past 60 years.
