Art Carney was one of my favorite actors. When he was on The Jackie Gleason Show, he slayed people in the aisles with his humor and antics. Every night at the end of every show, Gleason would call all the actors 1 by 1 to take a bow. It was the 50s. We had some class and style back then. Carney was always the last called out, and I swear the decibel level from the audience at least doubled.

I am making this post for 2 reasons. (1) Because Carney deserves to be remembered and respected. (2) Because I see someone whom I have on my Ignore list and so whose post is invisible to me came here God knows when and wrote something that will not reflect well on his memory. Fuck you, buddy. Art Carney flips you the bird from his grave.

The name rang a bell. I checked and hownos is on my ignore list also. Probably because he is one of those losers who posts insults on deceased actors and actresses' boards. There is some TMC asswipe who I vaguely recall being similar.

One nice thing about the moviechat interface is the ignore feature works. It really works! Ignored posters are out of sight and out of mind.

I’ve never known him to do such things. In fact, I’ve always thought of him as being quite respectful.

I will never know what he posted here because I have the walking prick with ears on ignore. So does the OP. Since we both have him on ignore and, since his was the first thread on the Art Carney board, it was very likely an insulting thread.

You can reply and write "He posted this or that" but I won't know if you are telling the truth because I have the prick on ignore and his threads and posts are no longer visible. Nobody has any way of proving what his did or did not post.

Thanks moviechat for having a good ignore feature!

Maybe that's what he said. Maybe not.

I'll never know because he is on ignore. The OP ignores him too. My ignore list is not that long so I must have had a good reason to block him.

I don't care what he posted. You can't prove that is what he said.
