I love her face, but what happened?

I think she's totally gorgeous now. Waaaaay better looking than Sofia Vergara, who's got that Joker smile - although admittedly, an absolutely killer bod.

But I loves me some Julie, thanks.

The thing I can't figure out is: what happened?

I just saw Happy Gilmore and Multiplicity, both from 1996, and she looks like a completely different person. The change is incredible. Can someone calmly, rationally, explain to me how her face could change so dramatically in just over 10 years?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Shes aged quite nicely over 10 years IMHO. She had three children which will change your body and face. She is a bit thinner these days mostly from it seems as a runner. She appears to have little or no facial plastic surgery to my view save for perhaps some botox, I think she's gorgeous and age appropriate.

Happy was 20 years ago, wasn't it? Perhaps you just made a typo but a lot can happen to a person's looks in 20 years.

Long hair can make a 45 year-old woman look much harder than it would on her at 25.

"Long hair can make a 45 year-old woman look much harder than it would on her at 25."

Cutting hair short is the number one mistake middle-aged women make that makes them look older and frumpy. Keeping it long, even if they let it go completely gray, makes them seem more youthful.

reply

Yuck I hate long gray hair, I disagree! You cannot ever look youthful with gray hair.

Long gray hair is more attractive than short hair, IMO. A gal who has long gray hair is confident. Short hair means you have other priorities, which is good but then you have to navigate what this less attractive short-haired woman really wants in the relationship.

I'm referring to the 13 years between the movies and the start of Modern Family.

oh. yes, 13 is still a lot to my mind, too, as it affects physically-active, strong-willed women.

I just came here to post the same thing. Watching Happy Gilmore thinking, that can't possibly be her--she looks like a different person. In my opinion she looks much more beautiful now, although she was never unattractive.

reply

its VERY obvious she gets work done here and there, at least 3 times during the duration of this show. She keeps it subtle each time but she seems to go back for a bit more every couple of years

reply

Im not convinced one way or another about whether she has had any work done. You are right if she has its very subtle and she also looks great for 46 yo maybe too good to be natural. If anything it may be the makeup that gets done for MF I have seen her on other shows like Kimmel or Ellen where she looks like she hasn't had work done.

Bottom line she is gorgeous.

Does anyone notice her eyes look different in earlier episodes? I can't figure out why!
