How convenient of you to forget that powerful WOMEN have also sexually harassed young, beginning MALE actors.
I know of two, very talented, very gifted young male actors who were promised prominent roles by two
different female producers back in the late '90's. The price tag? They were told that they had to sleep with the two
bitches. Both of them turned them down.
While males are the predominant sexual predators in all industries, powerful women also harass men (and, yes,
other women).

Do they? I don’t think anyone’s forgotten. It’s just not at the forefront as there's so very few reports.
There was the bestseller DISCLOSURE on the issue, by Michael Crichton, which became a big budget hit 1994 movie starring Demi Moore and Michael Douglas. So the issue hasn't exactly been ignored...

But by all accounts, the vast majority of sexual harassment and abuse in the entertainment industry is done to women, by straight men.
You are quite incorrect. Again, while male agents/producers have been notably worse than females, both straight AND
gay males are the worst. I know the industry well, and most young male actors are asked to either get on their knees,
bend over, or both. Haven't you heard Rob Schneider's recent account??? It is prevalent. I won't even get into the
child molesters, who seem to favor boy actors. (fact).
But there is another issue at hand. Namely, young actors who agree to sex (their choice), then get paid off if there's
a threat of a lawsuit, THEN want to moan about it twenty years later (are your reading this, Rose McGowen?).
If you were a willing participant in sex to further your career, you are EQUALLY responsible. Of course, this does not
discount the countless people who turned Weinstein down, and whose careers were damaged or ruined...not to mention
the psychological damage that is done to these young actors. Weinstein, and all in his ilk, are PIGS who probably
deserve jail time, especially, if it's proven he's raped women. But women LOVE to play victim, make big announcements
25 years later (I'm talking the female actors who agreed to bed producers for roles), then play the all-straight-male-
producers-are-RAPISTS card).

It's still illegal to rape whores, and it's a firing offense to use company funds to reward a whore, or to promote a whore over the heads of the better qualified. That's both an abuse of power and a misuse of other people's money, and it's a bad idea all around because even whores despise anyone who does business this way and they can take you down after the fact. And if you have committed any sort of illegal act, such as a physical assault, the law still applies to you no matter who you've paid off.
in short, things are not the say straight men who sexually harass think they are. Tell that to your pals under the bridge!
