Good work making a flop of U.N.C.L.E., dummy!

Next you'll make a flop of King Arthur.

Keep going, dummy.

I really don't get why both UNCLE and King Arthur were a miss, I enjoyed both films immensely and found the latter to be great! I've watched it 5x by now actually.

He only became popular by riding off Tarantino's coattails. I did like the first Sherlock Holmes movie, though. Too bad he used RDJ, who was miscast.

Exactly. He just got lucky copying Tarantino's style early on in his career. Since then, he's tried to branch out to other genres (Swept Away, Man from UNCLE, King Arthur, Aladdin) and has failed almost every time. I did kinda enjoy Sherlock Holmes, but mostly just due to RDJ and Jude Law's performances. Ritchie's direction did nothing to improve that film.

It's a good film. What it did at the box office is irrelevant.
