I do not give a FUCK if Johnny Carson was “before your time.” There’s this thing called “history.” Look into it. Steve Allen (I know. You: “Duh, who?”) CREATED the fucking Tonight Show. Jack Paar (another “Duh” from you) fucked it up. Johnny Carson saved it. Johnny Carson made it look EASY to host a talk show. The pioneers hosted a 90 MINUTE show. Today’s midgets struggle to endure for an hour. Do not make statements about things you do not know.

He was a pig. I didn't watch him every night but I've seen all these documentaries and TV shows where he comes off awful and his humor dated. Like the new Pam and Tommy series.

I enjoyed him but I enjoyed David Letterman even more. I disagree with him being the greatest though.
