Vaughn can get kids to act like it's academy night at PS13, but this woman looks like she's caught in the headligts through most of X-men:First Class.
She's nice to look at, don't get me wrong, but she totally ruined what could have been an otherwise very nice to look at ensemble cast with her, in my opinion, very questionable acting skills.
She's OK as stone-cold Betty Draper. But she truly is a flat actress....she has absolutely no emotion at all in her readings.

January was never that good of an actress. She was perfect for the role of Betty because Betty was aloof, frozen and emotionally immature. January has no range. Also, she has a nasty attitude and was really feeling herself when the show became a hit. She got wrapped up in the Hollywood game.share
I guess Mr. Vaughn was too busy impregnating her instead of directing her.
