of the movies or shows he was involved with? I've only seen like 5 or 6 of his movies.

I've seen most of em, I think my faves are The Crimson Kimono, The Naked Kiss and White Dog. He's very highly regarded.

I watched pick up on south street and thought it was boring.

I've seen:

The Steel Helmet (1951)
Park Row (1952)
Pickup on South Street (1953)
House of Bamboo (1955)
Shock Corridor (1963)
The Naked Kiss (1964)
The Big Red One (1980)
White Dog (1982)

...and would recommend every one of them! A fine filmmaker.

I liked the big red one, white dog was ok, pickup on south street was pretty boring imo. I thought shark was descent. I’ll have to check out the rest.

I need to check out Shark - I’ve heard of it but it’s never really been on my radar.

I thought Pickup on South Street was tense and well-paced with a beautiful performance by Thelma Ritter.
