Can't Get You Out Of My Head

I have that album. That and the other really popular hit, Love at First Sight, are the only really good songs. Everything else is forgettable.

She was also the first singers to start what used to be called the "pop tart" craze, of women dressing up like strippers and porn stars in their videos.

Not really, no. Kylie began her recording career in 1987 and she was the epitome of the 'girl next door', she actually traded on having quite a virginal image. Yes, she shook that up a few years into her career but she was by no means the first to dress proactively (ever heard of a bitch called Madonna?) and she is well known for being classy over slutty.

I do agree Fever is not her best record (even if it's her highest selling album). Impossible Princess, Light Years, X and Golden are all classics though.

It all changed for Kylie when she met Michael Hutchence, that and leaving SAW, her music improved alot with the help of people like Cathy Dennis.

reply

Cathy Dennis is a very under rated song writer.

Touch Me (All Night Long) was very Kylie.

Iโ€™ve got all her albums. Sheโ€™s written 8 UK No.1 singles, including Toxic (Britney) and I Kissed a Girl (Katie Perry).

Seriously talented lady.

reply

I wonder if she was tempted to sing any of them for herself.

reply

I know she's supplied backing vocals for a lot of groups; Spice Girls, S Club etc.
