That was well after she cut back on her film work after Heaven Can Wait. I was talking about run run of still highly regarded films in a fairly short period of time. I didn't mean to imply that she was never good again.

And she's been good in everything she's done since! She's the real deal, a genuinely talented, hard-working, multi-facted and charismatic actor, who just happened to be born beautiful.

She had a damn good run on the A-List, though, she was a dream! A genuine talent who was genuinely beautiful, and whose persona fit the zeitgeist - she came across as the kind of free-spirited, sexy woman who was the ideal of the times, there was an open spot on the A-list for someone like her! But there was a lot more to her than her beauty, and fortunately she didn't need to depend on Hollywood for roles, the UK offers a lot more to talented that are no longer young than the Us does.
