Most Underrated Film?

Seeing loads of praise for Trainspotting, 127 Hours, Slumdog Millionaire, and 28 Days Later, but some of his lesser known work seems to get snubbed.

I personally love A Life Less Ordinary. It took me a few watches to appreciate it, but it's just a wonderfully directed fairy tale with an awesome soundtrack. I love its message about love and how it's dependent on both coincidence and personal motivation. Also, Holly Hunter.

The Beach, then Sunshine, then A Life Less Ordinary.

I personally think Sunshine would be, but he's got so many underrated films in his canon. I think Steve Jobs is a masterpiece, Shallow Grave doesn't get put up with his very best work where it deserves to be along with, T2 Trainspotting is a far better film that many see it as, Millions is the closet we get to Boyle making a Family film and is excellent, Life Less Ordinary isn't a classic but it's deserves more attention and The Beach adaption biggest fault is casting DiCaprio (he's great in it) and not sticking to the book's character, who's a massive loser and doesn't get the girl and goes crazy. But it's a very good film in itself.

My Boyle film best to worst would go
1. Trainspotting
2. Sunshine
3. Shallow Grave
4. Steve Jobs
5. 28 Days later
6. T2
7. 127 Days
8. Trance
9. A Life Less Ordinary
10. Millions
11. Slumdog Millionaire
12. The Beach

Sunshine, hands down.

Sunshine, in full awareness of all its shortcomings. Its visuals rival (in terms of concept) and surpass (in terms of execution; no surprise, given the advances in FX tech) 2001, to which it clearly pays homage. The 3rd act is week, save for Chris O’Donnel’s bravura self-sacrifice, and I do not care.

Runner-up: High Spirits. Terrific 80s comedy with Peter O’Toole, who had established his hilarious comedy bona fides in My Favorite Year, and the succulent lady trio of Beverly D’Angelo, Daryl Hannah and Jennifer Yum Tilly all in a haunted Irish mansion with Liam Neeson’s nutsack as part of the plot. What’s not to love?

High Spirits was directed by Neil Jordan.

Ah. I am an idiot. Thank you.

Not at all, I've made worse mistakes myself :)

I’m glad you understand that I wasn’t being sarcastic to you!

Sunshine gets overlooked, by people who don't follow Boyle's career that closely.
