Its crazy how people used to pass back in the old days.

Doubtful. Her real name was Karen Blanche Ziegler. Her parents came from Germany. She was of German, Czech, and Norwegian descent.

Irony is that her middle name meant white, her married name was black and her sister's married name is brown. LOL!
