You ever love yourself some Peter Weller? I do.

Man, forget, "Robocop" for a second; what about that film he did in the 2001 film "Styx" (which, from what I understand about what material Peter Weller is interested in, he probably had a lot of fun with that one!).

What about Screamers!

reply

Check him out in Naked Lunch and The New Age. Very different and more adult themed movies outside of the comic book nonsense

reply

Yeah, he's great in "Naked Lunch" too; hey, let's not forgot his role as creepy cop Stan Liddy in season 5 of "Dexter"as well! Yes, I also liked him in "Shadow Hours" (he's such the devil there!).

I've never seen Styx or Naked lunch.I'll have to check them out.Screamers was ok and Buckaroo Bonzai is a cult classic and a personal favorite of mine. Also been enjoying his random appearances on Longmire here and there.

I forgot about the Buckaroo Bonzai film, which I think is a fun film; how about the 1985 film "Firstborn", where he plays a shady guy who dates a lady (played by Teri Garr, who I always liked as well) who her son really doesn't like (he's right). I also have enjoyed some of Peter Weller's History Channel narration, especially the one on how the Romans built Rome.

'Shadow Hours' (2000) or 'Top Of The World' (1997) are my faves

I'm just glad Peter Weller got some love on here; I know he must've been stacked on the former IMDB board, but I noticed his post board here was empty. Thanks everybody for bringing up some seriously good films!

reply

Oh yeah, Bryan Brown is in "Styx" as well, and I loved his two "F/X" films.
