Appears in a lot of TV Westerns

I never realized CB appeared in so many small screen Westerns. I just saw him square off with Little Joe on Bonanza the other day. It was the end of an episode and apparently he was the bad guy. But I know he was on Laramie (maybe twice) and also was on Gunsmoke I'm pretty sure more than once. Might be sort of difficult to find and watch all these guest appearances, but I always get a kick out of seeing him unexpectedly on some oater. He was usually some everyday guy who got put in a bad situation, not the quiet badass he seems to have become.

Bronson could have shotput Joe Cartwright about thirty yards. No contest there.

Yup, he was on tons of TV shows in the '50s & '60s as well as films. But it wasn't until Death Wish that he became the international superstar. Same with Clint and others.
