Timothy Leary was married to Uma Thurman’s mom before she married Uma’s dad. I wonder if Leary and Uma ever interacted with each other or developed any kind of family relationship. If so, I wonder if they ever tripped on acid together.

That's not a stepdad. The proper term for someone who was married and divorced to a parent before you were born is "no relation".
