15 Lightsabers Were Originally Called “Lazer Swords” -- I don't mind this one if it was used as an alternative term every once in a while.
14 There Were Going To Be Two Death Stars In Return Of The Jedi -- double trouble, thank goodness they didn't go with this. One was one too many in ROTJ
13 Lightsabers Were Not Always A Jedi’s Weapon
12 Han Solo Was Going To Be An Alien
11 Obi-Wan Originally Killed Luke’s Father
10 Anakin Skywalker And Boba Fett Were Written As Brothers
9 Han Solo Was An Orphan On Kashyyyk
8 Anakin Was Initially A Teenager In The Phantom Menace -- prolly could have been a more solid trilogy if this was kept in
7 Jar Jar Binks Would Have Had Elastic Bones
6 The Emperor Might Have Been Anakin’s Father -- I kind of like the idea, but I don't think it could have worked.
5 Darth Maul Was Going To Live For The Sequels -- should have happened
4 The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Would Focus On A Younger Cast -- nothing could fix the sequel "trainwreck" of a trilogy.
3 Midi-chlorians Could Have Defined The Sequels -- I'm prolly the only one in the universe that wanted to know more about the Midi-chlorians.
2 The Force Was Going To Get More Complicated -- it prolly should have
1 The Sequels Would Have Been Set A Few Years After Return Of The Jedi -- why not!
Lucas always intended Anakin Skywalker to be a virgin birth, but he actually considered the possibility Palpatine created Anakin by manipulating the midi-chlorians...
I thought that was pretty much hinted at in the prequels?
He may not explicitly have stated he created Anakin but I thought he did say something about it being possible to create life by manipulating midi-chlorians... And with it hanging over us that Anakin was a "virgin birth" I thought we were supposed to at least see that as a possibility.
