Did People Know He Was Bisexual?

It is probably known now, but at the time did anyone suspect?

Thing is people who are bisexual do actually like and date women so unlike gay men like Rock Hudson, there wasnt really any point in setting him up with women as he dated them myself.

I think as a bisexual myself, It is easier than being gay because as bisexuals like same gender too,it isnt looked down upon as much as homosexuality, at that time in the 1950s it probably wasnt as common.

Did people know he was Bisexual? I think it added to the James Dean myth really.

I think people knew Hudson was gay

I know you like to troll pages, especially about gay stuff...

....but people didn't talk about stuff like that back then. Behind the camera, people knew all sorts of stuff about each other in Hollywood. But in front of the camera, and in middle America, absolutely nobody was out of the closet in the '50s.

Even when Liberace sued a scandal sheet hinting that he was homosexual, he easily won!

I think everyone knew he was a total power bottom. It's been documented and insiders have concluded this fact. I've read close friends knew about his obsession but he was too deep into it and couldn't be reformed.

Liz Sheridan (played Seinfeld's mum) said she knew he was bi/gay from when she first met him. Sammy David Jr said he knew and didn't care either. I think there were some people in his close circle who knew.

He loved and dated women, and used sex with men to advance his career.

I don't think he was truly bi.

He was gay for pay.
