Let’s put all the drama on the side for a minute and let’s enjoy some good flicks together shall we? Plus, June 14th is my mama’s birthday.

This Movie Party will allow two things to happen:
 -people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.

Slice of life: I heard my wife calling out on one of my kids to come take his bath so to render a service I turned on the water to fill the bath and I went to start the movie and she never ended up coming upstairs with my son and I totally forgot about the bath. About 20 minutes later my wife comes of the stairs screaming what’s going on because she heard the water running forever and I came in panic and buy some tremendous chance I hadn’t pushed the plug down so the bath never filled up.

Even crazier we once had a problem with the bath sink that was running from inside and had to repair the ceiling in my living room because of the water damage. I I can’t imagine how I would react if we had to go through that again..

Thank you baby Jesus

Now back to the movie.

im in summer now...but my favorite class from last year is 20th century music. basically we learned about the history of music and learned how todays music was influenced

I watch legit cooking shows to actually learn how to cook better, but these gameshow cooking shows are bizarre. Regardless, I'll take them over political crap anytime.

i used to watch the cooking channel back when i watched cable tv a lot and my favs were chopped, beat bobby flay, cake wars and worst cooks of america, i have not watched any in years though

Does anyone today have the open liquor display like this? I would have said no, but I recently saw an episode of Modern Family where Mitchel comes home and pours some kind of liquor at the the door. It really struck me as odd.

In Ontario, you can only buy beer at the beer store and liquor at the liquor store. Cross the bridge to where I am in Quebec and you can buy beer and wine in any grocery store or corner store and hard liquor is at the liquor store. Now they just announced that Ontario gonna start selling alcohol in groceries for the first time ever..

It's a boring movie, but short thank god. Its always good to see the old days of movie making to get perspective.

I agree with you, by our current standards this is a slog but it’s also cool to see old stars doing their thing. Vincent Price was world famous 60 years ago. The acting is a bit stiff and stagey but many of these actors started on the stage.

It’s sort of a neat time capsule picture.
