What you know doesn't matter.

Well, not TOTALLY anyways, in this life. Won't say I completely agree or disagree but I believe its partially true anyways, what do we think, thanks. Short and sweet this time.

I know that when you're trying to fix the electrical panel on a stove, you unplug it first.

That matters.

A lot of what I know matters to me. I know how to swim, that means I have a better chance of not drowning if I'm in water. I know how to cook, which means I can feed myself. I know how to use a computer, which means that I can be here to respond to your post. I could go on, and on, but I think that you get my point.

What doesn't matter is the arbitrary measuring of intelligence, in a way. One person can be street smart, another smart with mechanical things, and another book smart, but the only one really recognised as intelligent is the book smart person. Anyone who pays attention, learns and thinks in whatever their sphere is can be intelligent in their own way and contribute. What we know does matter, as our own individual and different experiences and gleaned knowledge can complete the whole.

Maybe it does in some or other ways, but in others, not as 100% as some make it out to be.

It’s not what you know.

It’s not even who you know.

It’s what somebody else THINKS you MAY know.

Life is overall complex and complicated and we often find out new information every day on a whim so sometimes what you may have known before isn't really all that important though it could be at the time.
