How old were you when you first got drunk

*Really* drunk? 18 or 19 (can't remember exactly).

I was in a local college and after a late class, the lab group went to a local bar that had a 50" front projection TV (this was 1978-79 so that was a big ass TV) to watch Monday Night Football. I was never a big drinker but they kept drinking and reordering beer so I kept up with them.

I drove home that night in my mom's 1974 Monte Carlo, and about a mile from home hit a decreasing radius turn at the bottom of the hill that I had driven a hundred times, but I ended up hitting the corner a bit too fast and ended up in the left lane. I was very fortunate in that there was no one coming from the other direction or I would have hit them head on.

I was furious with myself for essentially losing control of the car and dropped to 25 for the last mile home. That was the first and last time I ever drove while drinking.

They should make this a Family Feud question.
