It’s a teen franchise but it was a bummer Mortal instruments didn’t work. Especially because I liked the main actors a lot, the chemistry was definitely palpable.
It’s a real bummer we only got the first film
The franchise is originally a book series. I tried to read the first book. It was horrible. It was then that I realised that many of the books feted on Goodreads are meant for teenage girls and sometimes middle aged women who are trapped in a teenage mindset. Kind of like entering an erotic bakery in complete ignorance and not knowing what it specialises in.
