From what I've read, they had just put in one of the verses or part of the chorus of the song backwards.

He also has a video where you have to guess Beatles songs from increasingly short segments of 2, 1 & finally 0.5 seconds!

You did better than me! 😃 I got 9/15, which was better than I thought I'd do. I missed 2, 3, 8, 10, 11, and 15. That was fun...what an incredible band The Beatles were!

PS: I think"backwards guitar solos" are pretty cool! I remember hearing REM's "What's The Frequency, Kenneth?" and thinking that was such a cool solo (and song). But my favorite has to be "Are You Experienced?" by the great Jimi Hendrix...what an incredible solo and song that is!
