"Having a wedding is a waste of time and money." Agree or disagree?

Agree.

Agree. Money spent on a wedding is directly related to how long your marriage will last.

Absolutely agree! Even attending the thing is a chore, but still some nitwits think that their wedding is the more important and wonderful thing that will ever happen in the history of the universe!

Seriously, WTF is up with people who spend the price of a downpayment on a home on a wedding, and then complain because they can't afford to become homeowners.

If your wife wants it, then do it, within reason.

"A happy wife is a happy life" is saying for a reason.

"Within reason" is a good approach in that it's a red flag if one partner is making unreasonable demands for a wedding (seriously, who blows 100K on a wedding??). On the other hand, it's a good sign that the relationship will last if both parties have different attitudes but can reach a compromise.
