Don't know about tv shows or movies in that genre right now, but I found a fun Reddit space called "Scenes from a Hat," based on a game they used to play on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"

Before the show began filming, the audience would be allowed to write suggestions on pieces of paper for funny joke ideas, Drew Carey would get the best ones put in a hat (usually an Uncle Sam-style hat, but sometimes he got other hats), and he'd pull out the paper and read suggestions for silly stuff the four improvers could do on stage. It turned out to be the most popular game in the whole show, mainly because the audience helped and had so many great ideas :D
