Welp
I knocked down a shelf from the wall as I stood up, and can't find find the nail that was holding it up. That's enough alcohol for this Saturday night.

I think I do a pretty good Connery impression but I’m only fooling myshelf!
Nails are the last resort.
Wood screws are way more sturdy and a Ryobi drill with a rechargeable battery is only about thirty bucks.
Get a drill Amigo!
I break stuff all the time when I’m sleepy, there’s no shame in your game buddy👍
RYOBI ROCKS...I HAVE A MATCHED SET....2 DRILLS,SKILSAW,SAWZALL,FLASHLIGHT,VACUUM,SHOP VAC,JIGSAW,DREMEL,NAIL GUN...ALL MATCHING GREEN...ALL KICK ASS.
shareI have that set.

They’re pretty good, lightweight power tools for a homeowner with a few simple chores, but be sure to store the batteries inside at room temperature. Those batts die if left in a cold shed as I found out the hard way!
shareYeah I have everything inside.

EASY FIX IF YOU ARE SO INCLINED...YOU DRILL A SMALL HOLE INTO THE BATTERY IN A CERTAIN PLACE...ADD A SMALL PIECE OF METAL AND GIVE THE PACK A SMALL CHARGE WITH A SMALL BATTERY CHARGER UNIT...THEN THEY CHARGE UP AND WORK AGAIN....THERE ARE A BUNCH OF YOUTUBE STEP BY STEP VIDEOS.
shareThat's actually a brilliant idea. Fuck that nail

I'm confused how the shelf fell. You stood up from your chair and it just came tumbling down or were you trying to climb up it like Kevin in Buzz's room in Home Alone?
shareIt's not really a shelf. It's like a 3 slot thing to hold papers. I had a nail holding it there but the hole has been enlarged to where the nail wasn't tight in the hole. I stumbled into it drunk when I lost my balance and knocked shit everywhere. I still can't find the large nail. I fixed it just now with a wall anchor and screw and a Ryobi drill.
