No one's getting busted in Vegas for smoking weed outdoors, at least on The Strip or Downtown. I really don't see the point of this.

That story seems to suggest that casinos are regulated by Federal law, and as marijuana is still illegal at the Federal level, they can't sell it. (which is funny on several levels - I'm only supposed to lose 51% of the time, not 52%!)
they had a cannnabis consumption lounge in San Franshitsco when i was there a couple year ago. It was free to use after purchasing overpriced overtaxed more expensive than street dealer weed but u had to have a mcfranklinvax card to get in. I had my cousins fake vax card saved on my phone but would rather smoke my weed in the violent dangerous shit and piss infested streets of that hellhole than hangout in some exclusive mcfranklinvax club with the sheep
shareI suppose, if I were young again, I would go to such a "consumption lounge" to buy overpriced weed and overpriced munchies (c/f "tapas bar") to score with chicks by quoting Dickens, Shelley and Keats. The only difference between this and the nightclub back in the day is probably some white kid with dreadlocks playing a sitar instead of a DJ playing the 3 hour extended remix of "Blue Monday." Oh and everybody's dressed like slobs today...
