Ever start a movie thinking you've seen it, but you haven't?
I was positive I'd seen Rings 2017, basically The Ring 3. I do not remember any of it so far. I can't imagine I missed this when it came out, since I watch most horror new releases.

shareI don't think so. I've only had it where I didn't think I've seen it and then realizing I have.
shareThat's usually my issue too.
shareI saw Ingmar Bergman's "From the Life of the Marionettes". When I finished watching it, I went to IMDb to give with a rating and noticed that I had already rated it. I didn't remember a single thing about the film. Kind of sad that my memory is that pathetic.
shareSome films just don't stick in the memory.
shareI think it might be that this movie is so generic, and bland, that it just doesn't stay in your memory.
shareI can't think of one off the bat, but I'm sure I have-- there have been times I go to rate something on IMDB only to see I gave it a rating years ago. Some movies are that plain forgettable.
shareYep. Between the trailers that show everything, message boards like these and youtube review channels. I often don't see a movie because I pretty much got the gist of it already. And then a few years goes by and I start thinking I did watch it. Till I finally see it on tv one day.
