What are your plans for NY Eve?

Like Christmas, it will just be my husband and myself, so I'm fixing a nice dinner for us and we will watch the festivities on TV and I may end up drinking a little too much of something.

Actually I'm so happy I have a good excuse to not have to go to my step-son's house for his annual "party." It's a major bore. There is a silver lining to this mess.

Help my mom prepare tamales, watch movies, and Times Square. Wait for the ball to drop on TV.

We use to go downtown Las Vegas for the fireworks show. But not this year; I don't know what the plans are now.
