I just moved close to a Trader Joes, and I am loving it.

I drove past a Trader Joe's today. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there were about 15 people in a line outside the store. Trader Joe's sometimes mails thin monthly newsprint catalogs, advertising their products. I think they are somewhat high priced, although the quality is good. Sometimes they sell stuff that's really good, but you never see it again.

When one of their stores closed, it was replaced by an Indian grocery store, since Trader Joe's are smaller than most supermarkets. They moved the Trader Joe's from a working class neighborhood to an upscale, richer neighborhood.

I agree that "whole paycheck"describes Whole Foods, which is high priced and not worth it; snob appeal.

Their flatbread pizzas are delicious. The ham, cheese and onion one is my favorite.
