The films were monumental. Getting the extraordinary context of their production just adds to the achievement.

The first 10 - 15 minutes was fascinating. A great selection of interviewees. But after that it ceases to be about "The Masterpiece That Almost Wasn't" and is just about the film and genre and Italians, nothing really wrong with that, but it's stuff you've probably heard before. But the initial part about the state of movie making in the 60s, the struggle to get the film made, and the difficulties for Coppola in making the movie he wanted to make is very good stuff.
